Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol at Louisville, KY. You will provide a visible security presence, assist visitors, and protect government facilities while delivering excellent customer service.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond professionally to incidents. Study site policies, complete required reports, and collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply and vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and report findings per site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence and clear communication with government personnel and visitors.
