Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. seeks a reliable Security Officer for Friday and Saturday evenings to protect client sites in New Jersey. You will observe, report, and help enforce site regulations while standing for much of the shift.

Applicants must have a NJ SORA license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to communicate in English. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
• Patrol premises, secure entry points, and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Complete reports with observations and interview witnesses as needed.
• Follow supervisor or manager directions and procedures.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Friday & Saturday 2PM to 10PM

Pay Range

Up to USD $24.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
