Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with metal detection screening in Quakertown, PA, to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will welcome visitors, control access, badge issuance, and monitor entry activity using tablet systems, delivering professional service and maintaining a secure environment.

This role offers flexible day schedules and opportunities to grow, with a pay rate of $17.46 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific policies, access-control procedures, and security-related protocols.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and direct incoming calls, and communicate with appropriate site personnel regarding arrivals, departures, and access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing front-desk activity, maintaining awareness of the reception area, and escalating unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
