Job summary

Allied Universal in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Information Desk to provide front desk coverage at a logistics site. This role offers reliable hours, flexible shifts, and opportunities to move toward full-time work within the industry leader.

Pay rate is $17.46 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage visitor and driver check-in and check-out processes, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain required visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor access, and site communications while following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with access control, badge issuance, package and delivery coordination, and other security-related front desk duties to help deter unauthorized access.
