Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part‑time Enhanced Security Officer for an anchor shift at a Quakertown site, with flexible hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings. The role supports front‑desk security at a logistics location, including access control and visitor management.

The position offers potential progression toward full‑time schedules with paid training and benefits. CPR is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, communications, cameras, and/or alarm systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and follow established site response procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions and general site information, coordinate with warehouse personnel and delivery contacts, and support a professional front‑desk environment.
