Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with the ability to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while gaining experience across multiple sites.

The position requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check. CPR certification is preferred, and driving is only required for driving roles.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate to site contacts and leadership.
