Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Review in Louisville, KY to screen people, packages, and materials, provide customer service, and deter incidents at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. Role offers part-time hours with a set schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by following site procedures and addressing inquiries.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location per procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas; conditions may vary by location.
