Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Review in Louisville, KY to screen people, packages, and materials, provide customer service, and deter incidents at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by following site procedures and addressing inquiries.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location per procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas; conditions may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Part Time Entry Review in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity, policy violations, and damaged equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
