Job summary

Allied Universal, Louisville, KY, is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time entry-review role in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will screen people, packages, and vehicles, maintain a visible security presence, and document activities using site systems. The role offers daytime shifts and a pay rate of $17.33 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience (minimum).
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and loading zones.
