Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, friendly front-desk and security services at a designated site. Earn $24.44 per hour with fixed shifts and options to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying access, monitoring entrances, reporting incidents, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, and direct guests and vendors.
• Monitor access points and lobby activity, report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, and shift communications.
