Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional pick-up shifts to boost earnings, and a typical pay rate of $18.40 per hour. You’ll provide client security services, respond to incidents, and patrol assigned sites.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and CPR is preferred. The program supports part-time schedules with potential growth toward full-time hours.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) age requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security-related procedures and site-specific policies for clients.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
