Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Dulles, VA to provide reliable front desk and security services within a client site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and the potential to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will greet visitors, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain security records while delivering professional customer service to tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as applicable by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and client personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Greet and screen visitors at the front desk, verify IDs and access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor access points, surveillance, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering phones, giving directions, coordinating access requests, and documenting daily activities.
