Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Nampa, ID. This role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour with a part‑time schedule, designed for flexibility and opportunities to gain experience in a leading security services company. Applicants will undergo background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Comfortable with basic safety procedures and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, facility issues, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.
