Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Boise, ID. You’ll provide customer service to employees and visitors, follow site procedures, control access, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to explore new shifts through our Earn More platform, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. As part of a dedicated security team, you will patrol facilities, monitor access points, respond to alarms, complete logs and reports,

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site policies and utility operational requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting continuity of operations.
