Job summary

Allied Universal in Lima, OH is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at a designated site. Earn $20.50 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while maintaining a part‑time schedule.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to site procedures, and the ability to respond to incidents calmly.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen may be required.
Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor and report security concerns, hazardous conditions, equipment issues, and policy violations to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and activity accurately per site requirements.
