Job summary

Allied Universal in West Chester, OH is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer – Enhanced - Flex - Patrol. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts, paid weekly, at a rate of $17.51 per hour.

You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and complete site-specific reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
