Job summary

Allied Universal in Westlake, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Property Patrol to provide reliable site security and customer service.

This role features fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, and the potential to grow into full-time opportunities within a leading security and facility services company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, documented observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across manufacturing, office spaces, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain records.
• Observe for unusual conditions and report findings to site leadership or emergency personnel.
