Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Herndon, VA. This unarmed role offers flexibility with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, including a six-month site commitment and the potential to scale up to 40 hours per week.

Position provides customer service at a corporate technology location, with responsibilities including access control, incident response, and reporting. Starting pay is $21.63 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access control concerns calmly and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor entry requirements.
• Complete required activity and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence.
