Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced (Part Time) in Reston, VA. The role offers fixed shifts and a flexible pickup program to boost earnings while maintaining a base schedule.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and thorough reporting. Applicants should be 18+ (21+ for armed), HS diploma or equivalent, with background checks and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge checks preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures to maintain authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report/escalate as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns and communicate with leadership.
