Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable security and customer service at a commercial real estate site. The role offers flexible fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $23.36 per hour. Schedule is Daytime and Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with a six-month anchor shift and potential to scale up hours, designed for income stability and career growth in the security industry.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and client representatives while following security procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access activity and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization per site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations for appropriate personnel.
Deter unauthorized activity and maintain a professional presence to create a welcoming environment.
