Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Turnstile Monitoring in Lansing, MI. This flexible, dependable role provides reliable hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a fixed anchor shift and a program to claim extra shifts. Responsibilities include access control, visitor management, and incident response at healthcare client sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the healthcare location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Operate access-control systems, review entry and exit activity, issue and recover credentials as directed, and report access-related irregularities to the site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, restricted areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
