Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Environmental Observation to provide reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $24.44 per hour; candidates must be 21+ for armed roles or 18+ for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and client representatives.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, entrances and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain access‑control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established protocols.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and security concerns in logs.
