Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Client Service in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes dependable, flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $24.44 per hour, and candidates must meet minimum age and education requirements. You'll provide tenant and visitor protection, respond to incidents professionally, and perform regular patrols while following site policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and property representatives.
