Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Library Patrol in Raleigh, NC. This position offers flexible, dependable hours and a fixed shift commitment with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earnings.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The role involves day-time and evening shifts, with duties including access control, patrols, incident response, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government facility by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access; and assist with visitor direction and facility‑related inquiries.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.
