Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Attendant in Waimanalo, HI. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.12 per hour. The role includes screening, customer service at a food and beverage location, incident response, logs, and regular patrols, with a six‑month anchor shift commitment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees at a food and beverage location by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures and security‑related policies.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas, verify access credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or prohibited items according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of screening activities, incidents, visitor access, and other security‑related observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
