The role emphasizes reliable shifts, the option to pick up additional shifts, and a path toward full-time hours up to 40 per week when available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.
