Job summary

Allied Universal in Northampton, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Credential Audit to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts.

You will perform access-control duties, badge management, and customer-service tasks, earning $18.03 per hour and having the option to pick up additional shifts. This role supports a dynamic, team-oriented environment with opportunities to advance within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and driver sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access records.
• Control access for delivery vehicles, contractors, and authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements; communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
