Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Bethlehem, PA site. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with the potential to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with responsibilities including access control, badge management, visitor screening, and responding to incidents while maintaining security procedures and logs.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor logs.
• Control entry and exit for shipping, receiving, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures for a temperature-controlled commercial property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, access points, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
