Job summary

Allied Universal, a leader in security and facility services, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in Marion, OH. You will support access control, verify credentials, and patrol facilities while earning reliable, flexible hours and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

Role includes badge administration, customer interactions, and adherence to site procedures. Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-control issues, incidents, and security-related observations.
