Allied Universal in Marion, OH, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration to provide reliable, site-specific access control and customer service.

This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining experience across sites.

A high school diploma or equivalent, access control experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen are preferred or required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access‑control logs and records.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access‑control issues, incidents, and security‑related observations.
