Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced (unarmed patrol) in Marietta, GA. The role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $18.50 per hour and supports a flexible schedule within a part-time framework, with anchor shifts and the option to scale up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
