Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part‑time Security Officer – Flex Guard in Glendale, AZ to provide dependable hours at an assigned site. You may pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, with a fixed anchor schedule and a 6‑month commitment.

Pay rate is $22.62 per hour. The role offers part‑time hours with potential to scale to full‑time up to 40 hours/week, plus access to our scheduling platform and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18 for unarmed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be administered as a condition of employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, assisting with credential and entry requirements as assigned.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and other security‑related activities.
