Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Tempe, AZ. The role offers fixed shifts with optional additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a day schedule from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

The position supports a pathway toward full-time hours up to 40 per week as needed. Responsibilities include greeting clients, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and responding calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior/exterior areas, parking, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; maintain visitor logs.
