Job summary

Allied Universal in Georgetown, DE is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Badge Issuance to provide reliable access control and customer service at a food and beverage production site. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months of security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the job location state.
• At least 6 months security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a food and beverage site.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, log visitors, and direct guests per site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Deter unauthorized entry by observing access points and reporting suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
