Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required where the job is located.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a site.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms calmly and escalate as needed.
• Deter unauthorized entry by monitoring access points and reporting suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
