Job summary

Allied Universal in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide client service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents. This role offers flexible anchor shifts with six-month commitment and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Candidates should have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verify credentials and follow visitor and employee entry procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control records and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols; vary by client site.
