Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Issuance to provide dependable hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a DayTime Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM schedule.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform. This position is ideal for those seeking part-time employment with income stability and potential progression toward a full-time

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the site by verifying credentials, documenting entries, and directing authorized personnel.
• Monitor entry/exit points, gates, and delivery traffic; maintain access logs and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
