Job summary

Allied Universal is looking for a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Chicago, IL. This position offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the possibility to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide security services at a busy commercial waterfront destination and support a welcoming environment. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and clear background checks with drug screening

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law and company policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across public areas, tenant spaces, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to assist visitors and enforce restricted-area access.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision.
