Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer to join our team at a designated site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the possibility to take additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings, enabling a path toward a fuller schedule if desired.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout financial-services facilities and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
