Job summary

Allied Universal in New York, NY, is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced to provide dependable hours and reliable coverage at an assigned site. This role offers anchor shifts and an optional Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings.

The position requires security experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work a fixed daytime-evening schedule. Pay rate is $20.95–$21.95 per hour, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas to help protect personnel, property, and sensitive business operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business location, including offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
