Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Operations in Baltimore, MD. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $21.89 per hour. Shifts include Saturday and Sunday mornings; role supports part-time availability with a path toward greater hours as needed. This position emphasizes customer service and security screening duties.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• X-ray screening experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Guard Card or license (preferred).
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures; verify credentials, direct individuals appropriately, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation, and communicate access concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned screening areas, the business, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
