Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Operations in Baltimore, MD. This role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $21.89 per hour. The position supports part-time schedules with potential progression toward full-time, maintaining a focus on safety, customer service, and strict access control at a technology site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer/tablet for access control and reporting.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or security license preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications site per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and report irregularities.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment; maintain visitor/incident documentation and communicate access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols and deter unauthorized access.
