Job summary

Allied Universal in Bellevue, WA is hiring a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time (Access Control). This position offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to earn more while maintaining a reliable schedule.

You will provide customer service, perform security procedures, patrol the site, monitor for unusual activity, and respond to incidents. The role requires at least a high school diploma and background check; CPR and alarm panel

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, document observations, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or vendors with directions and access-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
