Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time, enhanced Security Officer to work in Mount Vernon, WA. This unarmed, field patrol role offers flexible hours and the potential to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, with a base rate of $21.25 per hour and a schedule that includes DayTime and a fixed anchor shift.

You will perform customer service, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete detailed reports to support safe operations at the site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials and documenting entries, exits, and unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel and emergency responders.
