Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Central Valley, NY. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a six‑month anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across sites.

Pay rate is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, with a schedule including Mondays. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, and basic computer or tablet skills. Background checks and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and staff by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the retail location and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and theft.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
