Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Salem, OR. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and the option to pick up extra shifts using our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Position is unarmed with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions
• Customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation and drug screening per federal, state and local laws
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store personnel by following security procedures
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail floors, entrances, parking areas and surrounding property
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to management
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate information to leadership
