Job summary

Allied Universal® is recruiting for a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Salem, OR. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings, up to a full-time schedule if desired.

You will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and help maintain an orderly retail environment. A valid license where required, background check, and drug screen are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, visitors, and vendors according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and document events as required.
• Assist in maintaining an orderly retail environment and support site reporting requirements.
