Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Entry Authorization in Apex, NC to safeguard client sites across industries. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and provide customer service with a visible security presence.

The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to move into broader security roles through our Claim a Shift platform, with emphasis on integrity and community safety.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures and policies.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises.
