Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Readiness. This role offers reliable, scheduled hours at a designated site with the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts.

Responsibilities include customer service, site patrols, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting. Minimum requirements cover age, education, background checks, and potential licenses; driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
