Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer for access control and patrol duties at a technology workplace.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
